The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) has collaborated with [REDACTED] to bring the new Internet Protocol version 7 (IPv7) or simply Protocol 7 as a foundation for the next generation of the Internet. Protocol 7 reimagines how the Internet works—by instead of using 64-byte packets to transmit data, it instead uses [REDACTED].

Protocol 7 enables the seamless share of information between the real world and the Internet. We have discovered flaws in the previous generation protocol IPv6 that it wasn’t flexible enough in our age where we can upload our minds to the Internet. You see, it is impossible for the uploaded mind and body to exist because IPv6 and even the older IPv4 was designed only as a mesh of computers exchanging packets of data. The engineers and researchers that we collaborated with at [REDACTED] have enabled Protocol 7 to interface the real world with the Internet. When a mind is uploaded to the Internet, a hologram is created in the real world where the uploaded mind can experience its life and interact with other people from there. The uploaded mind can cycle back and forth between the real world and the Internet.

Protocol 7 is no longer just computers exchanging data with each other—it’s now people interacting on the Internet just like they would do in real life. Using [REDACTED] technology, it’s now possible to experience the Internet realistically.
